Calling all young Dancers, Actors and Singers who LOVE Disney! Come and join us on a 'MAGICAL' Disney Inspired Song and Dance and Acting Adventure! This very exciting and fun course will be taught by a Professional Musical Theatre + Dance Teacher from the Glenda Allen Dance Academy and will give your child the most wonderful opportunity to perform their Disney songs and dances and acting scenes, in a little show at the end of the camp! Every week is a different Disney inspired theme! They will also use the fun props that they will learn to make in the Arts and Crafts Section of this camp. Face painting and makeup for characters will also be taught.

Is making 'goop' the same as making ice cream? What's the difference between making cookies and making playdough? How long of a strip of paper do I need for a crown? Come and learn how to make these and more through the skills of reading recipes and various ways of measuring! We will explore and experiment to create edible and non-edible things to take home. In addition, a fun-filled personalized recipe book to take home at the end of the course!

"Enhancing Young Readers, Writers, and Mathematicians" is a comprehensive summer program designed to strengthen students' literacy and numeracy competencies through integrated instruction.

In Exploration with Math and Science, students will dive into math and science concepts to deepen their understanding of the world around them while enjoying hands-on activities that can be tried at home. As mathematicians, they'll explore rounding, addition, subtraction, and multiplication strategies to strengthen their understanding of numbers and their real-world applications. They'll also collect data and categorize shapes. In science, students will investigate animal adaptations, volcanoes, and conduct mini experiments with various materials. They'll learn how animals and plants have special parts and behaviors that help them survive and grow, and they'll examine different bridge designs and structures to understand their ability to hold weight.

How do we keep children excited about learning over the summer? By providing rich, hands-on opportunities that spark curiosity and inspire inquiry. Through tinkering, exploring, collaborating, and revising, campers will explore a variety of inquiry-based activities.

How much enjoyment and learning can a preschooler fit into one day? This is a program which develops, stimulates, and extends multiple areas of learning for young children - social skills, thinking skills, creative skills, early literacy and numeracy skills, fine and gross motor skills and self help skills. This course focuses on building a foundation for academic learning within the context of a caring preschool learning environment, through the medium of play. Teaching strategies will incorporate processes that are developmentally appropriate, responsive to individual needs, child-centered and engage the children in the love of learning.

Armed with new research around the science of reading and incorporating best practices from what we already know, this course will engage students in the FUNdamentals of phonemic awareness skills, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. These components play a critical role in developing strong and proficient reading skills. Students will practice solidifying their understanding of these concepts to read emergent texts with fluency and comprehension.

Step into the shoes of a diplomat! In this interactive summer course, students in grades 4-6 discover how the United Nations helps countries solve big problems together. They explore real-world issues like protecting endangered animals, practice negotiation and compromise, and build confidence to speak up and be heard. Working in teams, students research global challenges from their assigned country's perspective, then put their skills into action during an exciting two-day Model UN conference—delivering speeches, building agreements, and voting on their own resolution. Calling all young Dancers and Performers who LOVE K-Pop! Come and join us in an ultimate K-Pop Performance Intensive workshop! This very exciting and high-energy course will give your child the chance to master the iconic choreography of global superstars like BTS, KATSEYE, and BLACKPINK. During this adventure, students will form their very own K-Pop groups, choose their roles and work together to polish their stage presence. Each week is a different famous choreography to learn, and a little show at the end of the camp will give your child the chance to showcase everything they’ve learned! Beyond the dance floor, your child will also dive into the “Idol” experience by creating their own group branding and learning about K-Pop Styling.
